THE ROLE
The Advertising Sales Manager will be working on a market leading publication both digitally and in print, in addition to growing revenues across all brand extensions; awards, events, email sponsorship and data. This long established and highly successful publication has the highest circulation in its market sector and is by far the flagship brand for the industry.

The key day-to-day responsibilities of the Advertising Sales Manager include:

• Managing a team of 6 telesales execs and 1 key account manager.
• Motivating, coaching and developing the sales team.
• Maximising online revenue in a traditionally print heavy market.
• Taking full responsibility for a number of key accounts to ensure knowledge of the market place.
• Combining a passion for online sales with strong people and business management skills.

THE CANDIDATE
Key attributes of the Advertising Sales Manager include:

• Media sales experience having worked across a print magazine and also having sold online display advertising.
• Strong strategic and commercial approach with ability to plan, budget and forecast effectively.
• Strong sales management; experience in recruiting, coaching and developing a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for online sales
